Rose Foundation was established in honor of Mrs. Rose Ada Ajanwachuku, a woman whose life was defined by compassion, courage, and an unwavering intolerance for injustice. She believed deeply that women and children must be protected at all costs. If someone was being mistreated, she did not look away. When she could help directly, she did. When she could not, she ensured that someone who could would step in. Her home was a place of refuge for those seeking safety, and her values were rooted in justice, dignity, and accountability. Rose Foundation carries forward that legacy. Led by legal professionals and guided by a commitment to justice, the Foundation provides pro-bono legal services to women and children facing abuse, violence, and rights violations. We believe that justice should not depend on financial ability, and that access to legal protection is a fundamental right, not a privilege. The Foundation is based in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Nigeria, where all legal support and advocacy operations are carried out. Since 2019, our legal team has taken on pro-bono cases to ensure that perpetrators of abuse are held accountable and that survivors receive the protection they deserve, until our registration in 2021.
